Mining and minerals processing operations typically require large-volume drying to reduce moisture in run-of-mine material before storage, transport or downstream processing. Rotary drum dryers are the standard equipment choice for coarse bulk solids such as iron ore fines, potash, phosphate rock, silica sand, limestone and gypsum — with capacities ranging from 5 t/h for smaller operations to 200 t/h for large mineral processing plants.

Dust control is a critical requirement across the minerals sector. Bag filters (jetpulse type) and cyclone separators are used on dryer exhausts, crusher vents and transfer points. Screw conveyors and bucket elevators handle the continuous material transport between process stages. Our Technical Approach

Where abrasion is the controlling factor, we specify replaceable wear-liner segments rather than welded liners — maintenance access matters more at 50 t/h than at 5 t/h. Bag filter and cyclone packages are dimensioned to the actual dryer exhaust load, not to the nearest standard catalogue unit.
