Process Equipment for Chemical & Petrochemical Plants
Heat exchangers, evaporators, crystallizers and wet scrubbers for concentration, purification, crystallisation and off-gas treatment in chemical manufacturing — designed to EN/PED standards.
Chemical and petrochemical manufacturing involves a wide range of thermal and separation processes where heat exchangers, evaporators and crystallizers are core equipment. Falling film evaporators are used for heat-sensitive products requiring low-temperature evaporation; forced circulation evaporators handle scaling or viscous liquids; MVR (mechanical vapour recompression) evaporators minimise steam consumption in large-scale concentration operations.
Crystallizers produce solid products from supersaturated solutions — used in fine chemical, pharmaceutical intermediate and specialty chemical manufacturing. Wet scrubbers treat acid gas streams, water-soluble off-gases and mist-bearing exhausts where dry filtration is not suitable. Heat exchangers (shell and tube, plate) are ubiquitous in chemical plants for heat integration and utility services.
Key Process Challenges
- 1
Fouling and scaling on heat transfer surfaces reducing efficiency over time
- 2
Corrosive process media requiring careful material selection (SS, titanium, alloys)
- 3
Compliance with Pressure Equipment Directive (PED 2014/68/EU)
- 4
Energy integration — recovering heat between streams to reduce utility costs

Material specification for wetted parts is a project-level decision, not a default. We review it against your process fluid composition, temperature, concentration and cleaning requirements. Equipment supplied under Pressure Equipment Directive (PED 2014/68/EU) where applicable, with full material traceability from mill certificate to test report.
