Why Standard Configurations Matter
Fully bespoke pyrolysis systems have long lead times and uncertain pricing. When a project developer is assessing whether a biochar or pyrolysis oil business case works, waiting 8 weeks for a custom engineering quote is a barrier. By defining five standard capacity ranges with fixed reference designs, we can give you indicative pricing in 3 days and a firm quote within 2 weeks of process data receipt.
All five standard systems are built around the rotary kiln principle — the most robust and operationally proven reactor design for commercial-scale pyrolysis. Each configuration is available in biochar-optimised (slow pyrolysis, 350–500°C) or bio-oil-optimised (fast pyrolysis, 500–600°C) mode. Temperature and residence time are adjusted at the control level — the mechanical design is identical.
The Five Standard Configurations
Each system includes the complete process scope: feed dryer pre-sizing (to reach the required <15% inlet moisture), pyrolysis reactor, gas cleaning train (cyclone + scrubber or activated carbon unit depending on feedstock), and CE-marking documentation package.
| Model | Dry Feed Throughput | Kiln Size | Lead Time |
|---|---|---|---|
| LP-P500 | 500 kg/h | Ø600 mm × 6 m (skid-mounted) | 14 weeks |
| LP-P1500 | 1,500 kg/h | Ø900 mm × 8 m | 16 weeks |
| LP-P3000 | 3,000 kg/h | Ø1,200 mm × 10 m | 18 weeks |
| LP-P6000 | 6,000 kg/h | Ø1,600 mm × 14 m | 20 weeks |
| LP-P10000 | 10,000 kg/h (twin-kiln) | 2× Ø1,600 mm × 14 m | 22–26 weeks |
