The Certification News
Ermak Proses successfully completed its triennial ISO 9001:2015 recertification audit in February 2026. The three-day audit was conducted by Bureau Veritas Certification at the Ikitelli manufacturing facility in Istanbul, covering all manufacturing processes: design review, raw material procurement and incoming inspection, welding and fabrication, pressure vessel inspection (PED-aligned), surface treatment and painting, and factory acceptance testing.
Result: zero major non-conformances. Two minor observations were raised — both relating to document control procedures for third-party subcontracted components — and both were resolved and closed before the audit conclusion.
The renewed certificate is valid through February 2028. Certificate scope covers design and manufacture of industrial drying equipment, heat exchangers, evaporators, dust collection systems, and structural steel fabrication.
What This Means in Practice for Buyers
A certificate on a wall means nothing unless the system behind it is actually functioning. Here is what ISO 9001:2015 delivers concretely for every order placed through Lozzar Process:
— Design review documentation: every project has a documented design review record before fabrication begins. Changes to the agreed scope must pass through a controlled change process.
— Material traceability: all structural steel, pressure vessel plate, tube and fitting materials carry documented mill certificates, tied to the specific equipment item. If a material question arises during installation or years later, the traceability chain exists.
— Weld procedure qualification: welders on Ermak Proses projects are qualified to EN ISO 9606-1. Weld procedure qualification records (WPQRs) and welder qualification certificates are part of the standard delivery documentation package.
— Dimensional inspection records: all fabricated items are measured against approved drawings, with records issued as part of the factory acceptance test (FAT) documentation.
— Non-conformance tracking: any deviation identified during fabrication is recorded and tracked through a documented corrective action process.
For procurement teams at larger companies where supplier quality approval requires an ISO certificate and a supporting quality documentation package, copies of the Ermak Proses ISO certificate and quality manual are available on request.
