Particles suspend and circulate freely — behaving like a boiling liquid. Every particle surface is continuously exposed to hot air, giving uniform heat and mass transfer. Residence time is controlled by weir height (continuous) or cycle timer (batch). An integrated cooling zone uses ambient or chilled air at the discharge end to cool the dried product before packaging or bagging. The perforated plate design — hole diameter, open area %, pressure drop — is engineered specifically for each material's particle size distribution and bulk density.
