Flash dryers are preferred continuous dryers developed for drying filter cakes and slurry-like products. They are widely used in chemical, food, and environmental industries. The flash dryer consists of a drying chamber, agitator, feeder, hot air source, air filter, cyclone, bag filter, and fans. The wet product enters the drying chamber via a screw feeder. Under the effect of the high-speed rotating agitator, the wet product is dispersed by impact, friction, and shear forces and rapidly converted into powder. The wet product is fully exposed to hot air for drying. The dry product is collected from the cyclone and filter outlet. Advantages:
